Dr. Ahmad Shahidov spoke about Armenia’s war crimes and Genocide Museum in Baku at the OSCE meeting

Today, the international conference on “Torture and Other Grave Breaches of International Humanitarian Law and Gross Violations of International Human Rights Law: Supplementary Human Dimension Meeting II” organized by the OSCE Chairpersonship of North Macedonia, OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) continued its work in Vienna, the capital of Austria.

The issue of current conflicts and cases of torture in the OSCE region was widely discussed at the meeting attended by representatives from OSCE participating States, OSCE institutions and other executive structures and international organizations, civil society and other stakeholders and representatives of state institutions from 57 countries.

Speaking at the event, the head of the Turkish Institute for Democracy and Human Rights, Dr. Ahmad Shahidov spoke about the war crimes committed by Armenia against Azerbaijan and informed about Khojaly genocide, Agdaban and Garadaghly tragedies, Baganis Ayrim massacre and other massacres carried out by Armenians since 1991.

Human rights defender Ahmad Shahidov, who pointed out that Armenia’s war crimes are documented, informed about the Genocide Museum established under the Republican Military Prosecutor’s Office of Azerbaijan, and drew attention to the importance of evidence exhibited in this museum.
